BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2025–2026
BABYMETAL is a groundbreaking Japanese “kawaii metal” band formed in Tokyo in 2010. The group blends J‑pop idol sensibilities with heavy metal, creating a vibrant, energetic sound that has influenced global music trends
Current members include:
- Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto): Lead vocals & dance
- Moametal (Moa Kikuchi): Screams & dance
- Momometal (Momoko Okazaki): Screams & dance—joined in 2023, evolving from “Avenger” support role
The band’s backing band, known as the “Kami Band,” consists of skilled session musicians delivering heavy metal instrumentation.
They’ve released several studio albums: Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016), Metal Galaxy (2019), and The Other One (2023) — a concept album Their upcoming fifth album, Metal Forth, is set for release in summer 2025
The band is known for their electrifying live shows, sold-out arenas (e.g., London’s O2, Los Angeles Intuit Dome), and successful global tours — breaking records as the first Japanese artists in the UK’s Official Charts Top 40 with Metal Resistance and topping the Billboard Rock Albums chart
